Yesterday I saw a fly
Caught in a spiderweb
It was struggling so earnestly
I could feel it’s pain in me
So I let the fly go to be free
And that would have been the end of the story
Except now that spider is stalking me
He’s sitting up there in his web in the tree
Patiently plotting revenge on me
