she's a temple named Beautiful,
a star named Bethany,
her heart is a clear cut core
of jasper, jacinth, and an ebony.
she's safety- like a rabbit's hat habit,
she's the magician's secret Sapphic,
and I'm just the poet
looking upon her like Truth
and she is the Faith.
I couldn't, nor can't,
despise my eyes to
take them off of
her
