Recalling the days.
When I first met you?
I wasn't your type or guy least to hear you say it.

Then one day, you turn your attention to me.
And now I'm recalling the days.

You were uppity with an attitude.
A little rough and completely rude.
Until I saw the soft side of you.
And now I'm recalling the days.

You had a force field of protection that slowly broke down.
And now I'm recalling the days.
When you turn your heart around.

And it's hard to believe that you now here with me, now.
So, I'm recalling the days.
