She laid over his dying body
Screaming at the troops (don't touch him)
she looked at them with such venom
they had no choice, but to walk away

Then when they were out of sight
from her body came a warm gentle glow
for giving her life force, she did not show
as she was his lover and might

Then she laid over him again as the storm did come
and she was struck by lighting many a time
but she held him fast to the ground
for she did not want to loose her love

By the dawn of a new day kissed the battlefield
little life was left in her delicate frame
and as her warrior did awake
she kissed him with cold trembling lips and died
