When I pulled my hand from the spaces of the in-between,

lights danced in the pattern of another hand.

 

But she was not confused by this, as it had happened to her

and also to her of the other hand.

 

That's when the universe really began to laugh outloud,

and right then we two she and I

 

in the kitchen
