And sometimes you only see the light when you're tucked up in bed and settling down for the night
and sometimes someone says, or when you're drowning, right?

and sometimes
it either hits you like a bolt
or your mouth feels full of salt.

I'm in the dark
which is no big deal
I know this place
and I navigate by touch,
to feel my way,
sometimes.
