Not orchestrated
Sometimes impromptu
Off the cuff, but not usually
The impulse has been with me for as long as I can remrmber
Hence keyboard ,writing instrument,and paper akways nearby

At the ready
For to be the writer I dreaned
of being
Extemporaneously or not
The old school white or yellow legal pad seems to stare at me
Until I grab for a pen and write
Or it grabs at me
