I see her in hues, romantic soft blues and in chiffon and lace
but her face tells a tale of ships under sail and of mountainous seas.
Storm tossed she crossed the oceanic trail
to look for and find her holy grail
all to no avail.
It was here all the time in her very own backyard
sometimes the lessons life teaches are hard.
