Torn in two
Born on the rivèr
Raised in desert dunes
Rolled in yellow flowers
of Cascadian blooms
Never a stop
for very long
Before I was rolling
on and on
Fought the storms
Gulf of Mexico
Splintered the hearts
and masks
as winds would blow
The way of words
Two words to say
Coming or going
It doesn't matter
anyway
