it’s been a whole year
since i wrote my first poem
it’s been quite a rollercoaster of
a year, but i’m grateful
for it all
i’d like to think that
i’ve evolved in
the topics i write about
the ways i convey emotion
i’m nowhere near a
good poet
and i’ll never be
but heck,
it’s only been a
year since i
first started writing
poetry
