Yellow Light
I prefer my sunlight slotted.
Divided by venetian blinds,
dust motes wafting lazily
through beams of morning light.
The sunshine shone, dappled.
Tangled in the canopied sky,
I like way it highlights
the memories in my mind.
I love my yellow light dulled.
The fog burns with the dawn,
driving through glowing clouds
as I rub my eyes and hum along.
