Strained
Strained
No, it is not like squeezing a lemon
And catching the pips before they
Slip into the glass of hot water and
Honey
Nor is it like pouring the *** of
Boiled water into a sieve to dry
Spaghetti which oddly enough
Looks like a brain
Filtering fear is a different process
Because the gauze though meant
To draw **** from the wound, it
Coagulates and obstructs
So, one has to make accommodations
For uncertainty when living outside
The security fences where most people
Are too frightened to venture or be strained.
