Just leave me some other
Lifeline
In decline
I don’t care about money
Just keeping what’s mine
Since I know that I earned it,
I burned it
And spurned it
Rejected inheritance
Merits
And turned it
All into
A big
Ashen pile
Of cash
And then patched it all up
When I needed it back
