We look and look for something and are often unaware that the something that we look for is that something that's nowhere and nowhere is the place we know when we know something isn't right, something in the shadows that creep up on us at night, but we keep on looking, hoping that we'll find the entrance to Aladdin's cave yet knowing it's been mined because not many are welcome there.

Treasure all about us and we're still looking for some more,
Croesus and his cavalry, the Babylonian and the *****, they're still wanting too, the golden Bishop and the pawn, the King, the Queen, the Knight, still looking, looking, wanting more become the shadows that creep upon us in the dead of night.
