May 2022
a moment
jump back into the frame
you can't take my place
I’d have things the same
look behind me –
now it’s yesterday

If I could freezeframe
this man
twist-tie the hands of time
wrap myself around him
as he’s mine
so, we can chill out and unwind

If I could freezeframe
that year
hang it on the wall
if only I'd looked into a crystal ball!
but then you don't have a second chance
this movie plays out till the end
can’t rewind –
and go back again
