Sleep eludes me
My mind is confusing
I’m always self-persecuting
Pursuing a pain that can exist only in veins
I’m beyond insane and beyond restraint
My heart is polluted from our time as two
Mentally I’m consumed by a phase it seems I’ll never get through
I’m always scheming and daydreaming of a great “undo”
Because the hardest drug I’ve ever had to quit was you
