Darting around in the blue
hunters of the air graceful
summer evenings of wondrous flights
that give me pleasure, so much delight

The flash of wing to wind
is one of the beautiful things
then they come home to the barn
to feed their babies, keep them calm

Nymphs and mayflies
with little wings now abound
are taken by these Ariel predators
Swift and without a sound.
