Ohh whiskey,

I love you so
the feelings come
and you make them go
until you bring them back
tenfold
and I wish to fight with every soul.

Ohh whiskey,

Why do you treat me such way
like every woman I've chose to lay?
My father tried to steal me away
from his entire bloodline
you chose to slay

Ohh whiskey,

It can't just be the Irish in me.

You tear down the walls
as I write so enthralled
only to regret it all.
