I was a dark canvas like the night sky,
Grumpy and annoying,
Then she came into my life,
A gorgeous star full of sparkle,
Glistening with love.
Her goodness opened my heart,
Like a rose about to bloom.
My life took a turn,
Brimming with sunshine,
Filling me with joy and laughter like a babbling brook,
Magically she twinkled away all my bitterness and sorrow.
Taught me to forget my past,
Worry away my sorrows,
And enjoy my today.
I am happy she is here,
To share my thoughts and understand me,
To make me aware how special life is.
