She’s all that a young man Could have hoped for Someone who molded His very core And made him The man that he became for sure And of course I could go on To tell you more
She knew how to build My self-esteem And taught me how To hope and dream And although she was part Of a grander scheme I pray that my platitudes Aren’t too extreme
