On the crest of her lips a dream sails,
An ocean of words sweet and secret,
Vast and deep her soul is submerged,

The weight of a thousand eyes upon her,
Society's arrows shoot her soul daily,
Relentless judgement from the vultures,

She hums a song from a long time ago,
She knows the meaning of her breathing,
The petals of her stimulated flower open,

Her ship laden with the treasure of desires,
Sparkling jewels pure as dawn's dewdrops,
She longs for a taste of the hypnotic nectar,

Dark are the days of autumn's lonely pain,
Darker still the numbing days of winter,
In spring she will warm her heart with hope.
