The Day She Said Goodbye

His darkness fell upon him like an Atomic Bomb his destruction was likewise as well
Needless to say the rest of his days he
Will live his life in an eternal Hell

She was his heartbeat she was his everything
His world revolved around her
He never took it for granted but
Forever together of this he was sure

The day was like any other day but we all
Know things can change in the blink of an eye
The date was nine eleven two thousand one
The time was eight forty six, her time to die

They were both good people and I wonder
What is the purpose for their fate
The answer is there is no reason, it’s just
The Devil and his whisper of hate

The earthly Angels were there in abundance
As well and some received their wings
Two thousand nine hundred and ninety seven people perished and it rips my heartstrings

This is the proof that the battle between good
And evil still rages on and it’s not a lie
We must all remember this day as he will forever remember the day she said goodbye
