As I fought the beast
the others did run fearing
but I stood with my army
and we would not buckle

It is not my bravery why I did stand
it is because of my faith so pure
and on this day of October winds
my faith and commitment is to Christ's war

Oh so goes peace by battle hard creatures liken to me
and by the cross on our hearts we will never retreat
for we have never walked from the battle
whist we do fight with the dark beasts

I forgive those of no faith
for they are not of mighty soul
they were never ordained as knights
it is our war, it is now truly our holy fight

I give all I have to this crusade
for I hold my lords name in my heart
and I will hold this pass
to the end of my beating start
