i saw their edifices, beautiful structures,
and gave a sigh of despair,
i'll never be able to manufacture
monuments of such flair

i felt a tap, tug on my sleeve
looked down on wizened man
said he, asmile, 'please believe
your skill to do what you can.'

'each day a brick you can lay
upon the ****** ground,
with dedication, day-by-day,
you'll have built compound'

'a base to build higher still,
one brick at a time,
until there rises upon the hill
a place you can call heim.'

'an edifice of your making
of which you can be proud
an edifice that's breathtaking,
soul-deep and soul-profound.'
