I'm sorry that
I wasn't enough
Whilst you were
Rough
and Tough
I was small
so,
though I
gave my all to
you
you ran me through
with impatience
a need for me
to be
more than I was
or ever could be
I guess that all I
want to say is that:

I'm sorry that you were you
and that I was merely me
but I suppose that, in the
end,
that's just the way
it was all
meant
to be.

You are still you
and I have finally accepted
that I will always be
me.
I'm just rambling now, but I felt like writing tonight.
