I was shaking and shrieking

rolling thunder thrumming in my ears
electricity crackling in my fingers and toes
the wind whishing my hair every which way

Lighting flashed and I lost my mind

trees fell one by one and made my home a prison
the sky cracked open and tore the world in two
people shook and shrieked as they fought for their lives

I couldn't keep from laughing at it all
trauma changes the best of us. don't know if ya'll will understand it.
