I breathed in the last words
You had to say to me
The last expression
You gave at me
When you said
You were threw with me
When you said
There was nothing
I could do to make you
Stay with me

I watched you
Stand on the pavement
So greatly enraged
Telling me how
I manipulated you
In this relationship
How I gave rise to
Heartbreak in your life
How I never believed in you
Put everyone above you

I’m so sorry, my darling
That you have orchestrated
These thoughts to sabotage my heart
That you have lied on me repeatedly
How can you speak so unambiguously?
How can you say I was never there for you?
I was always there in your corner
Giving you the strength to move forward

Even when you had no clue
What your next move was going to be
I stayed up all night devising strategies
For you to succeed because you were my king
You were my heartbeat
And I believed in your hustle
I was your backbone

I would never let you go on your own
It’s so unusual that you
Choose to forget the facts
Try to disempower me
With your misguided lies
But I won’t allow you to get to me
I know I was nothing but good to you
I will let you fly away in sereneness
There’s no need to even go there
With you anymore
