She left me dishevelled
she left me broken in pieces
she left me to die here
as the petals did fall

She starved me of water
denied me the food of love
all she gave me was winter in my heart

It is mid summer now
yet I am in the shade
I can not see the sun
as my petals fall

I am wilting fast
my head is hanging low
my life is nearly over
as the petals fall
