With my last breath
I have killed every second, every minute, every hour
Waiting for your love to rain like a meteor shower
I have killed every morning, every evening, every night
waiting for you to fill me with inner light
I have killed every day, every month, every year
waiting for our future to reappear
I have killed every intro, every verse, every song
waiting for you to take me to the place where I belong
I have killed every word, every chapter, every book
waiting for you to give back my heart that you took
I have killed every root, every petal, every flower
waiting for you to save me from my zero hour
I have killed every birth, every life, even death
longing for you with my last breath
