The fields still shake off winter’s brown
swaths of green sprigs swirling there
draped with clouds hanging down
last night’s storms still fresh in air
hills layered in emerald trees
ah! the appearance of life delights
its pleasance felt in degrees
pealed off in moments slice by slice.
