This and that, lover
Infants and doling home, into a rational serve
Of vice if not verve in a clash, with what we know, overt
At a party, with no one to compliment, a rise of nerves...

Conscience sat, in a filial row, this
Of no remorse, sad to tell the awkward jibe
But the reasons we hide from each other, is my owe, tis
Total and careful worth, well to do and keeping my lie?

Salt on the tip of a tongue, and working for another's living
Is a recognized form to shall, a land save itself from all counts
And carriage of a rue, that gave its kiss already, and true to timing
We are the clock of destiny which I found, in the heart which pounds

Panic at the step, the risks of virtue in a limelight...
With whether to observe, or obstruct the obvious
They tell the tale in another's language, the secret to might
And majesty, that has a scent of obligation, to correct a grammar with us

A smack of justice and warranted mice, with the time to tell?
A jaundiced joke, that we seem and dole of a sincerity, voice
In the name of a shared eye, that has a corner in the realm we fell
And gathered a same, a just hand and the calling of since, the choice...

Is a babe with a bible in its lap...
And a memory for sin, that began with you...
So, sophisticated in the tongue of rumor and its charity, that...
Kissed by the and, you chose, with a rue of compelling history too soon...
For that first kiss - all out and oxen free...
