Lonely but woke,
Silent but not lost.
My heart was broken,
At every nook and corner.
Friends turning chameleons,
All I have absorbed.
Gullible,
That was me.
Stupid,
That was me.
Turned around,
Alas! All were busy.
This lesson was also essential,
For the softness in me,
To bloom further.
This lesson was essential,
To get on the mission,
To keep myself happy.
There were times,
When I needed someone,
Smoke and music kept me alive though.
Now that I am getting my life back,
I will have to keep it safely,
To hold the hands of needy.
I need their blessings,
To keep myself moving,
For the time when I die,
I can have people and not chameleons,
To carry me to my grave.
