Mar 2021
Down by the river
And across the grass
Where the cows roam
And the ramblers pass
Sits my house
A small decrepit thing
Like a humming bird
With a broken wing
Two rooms up
And three rooms down
There’s barely enough space
For my dressing gown
But I like it really
Cause I’m a bit of a loner
The simple mess
Fits my persona
Nobody comes
And nobody goes
Except the wind
That frequently blows
Now off you go
And don’t come back
If you follow me again
I’ll give you a smack
