Moonlight is blue tonight
Luminous glow
Peering out of my window
At go away snow
Melting at a pace
Glacial
Too slow for my liking
I want open spacial
And temperatures hiking
Returning with haste
My impatience insatiable
Time laid to waste
But the portents of thawing
Apparent today
Warming up the inherent
More pleasant landscape
To sanguinity cheer
For the advent of Spring
And its promise
Of weather
Much better
Will bring
And whether or not
Its fecundity blooms
For me too
Or just once again withers
In winters entombed
