Tonight seemed particularly vast,
increscent
Even the Shiva moon drifting
through star enchanted
Western horizon
got swallowed up
by this vastness

David and I
two tiny sillouettes
enjoyed
a lovely stroll along
the deserted, muted,
ebony roads
they also seemed to disappear
into the illumining largeness

I looked at my sleepy hubby
And whispered, "Tat Twam Asi"
"That Thou Art..."

And as if to confirm
this sacred truth...

The Vast Celestial Self
engulfing houses, trees, animals,
solar systems,
our microscopic planet
gazed down at us
with even Vaster Love
