I love him
like I used to love
sunshine
despite being
a rainmaker.

I love him
like how dandelions bloom
only to be blown by winds.

I love him
that I forgot
how footsteps strike
straight to pain
when it sounds
like fading

and fading

and fading
like his feelings.
