weather threatens everyday to engulf all that can be seen here, on our small Isle, where sea and ocean overflow the coast road strewn with seaweed and shells and gravel thrown from breaking waves that lick the fields beyond. To engulf but not overthrow our fragile stake within the maelstrom, the rock we shelter on, our home for the duration, lifespan of a creature in awe most days at the sheer magnificence of nature, this tiny creature who strives to be childlike and with that recognition the freedom it bestows in mind heart and soul
