The salt water running down my cheeks,
And wetting my pillow at night
Is absolutely worthless to them.

My tears, though invaluable,
Seem empty
Just like their promises of a better tomorrow.

I reassure myself,
Steeling myself for yet another day.

My tears, falling onto my pillow;
And I, falling into slumber,
Swallowed by my sorrow...
