Never heal
When examined closely
Cracks compounded
Are very real

Broken heart
Unstoppable tears
Painful memories of violence rendered
Etched in the mind
For many years

Splintered soul
Quiet
Silent and with drawn
Gaze into the solitary face
A lonely song
Broken bones
