Nov 2020
As i lie, in my makeshift marmalade bed
Awaiting dreams, to enter my head
Suddenly, i'm all afloat
Upon a dreamy waxen, candle-lit boat
Then from the depths, of a deep blue sea
A curious creature, glides slowly to me
As it approaches, i'm soon to espy
As i float upwards, to a purple sky
I look below me, to a tormented troubled sea
Strangely, and surprisingly, i see another me
Yet within an eye-blink, i land on a soft sapphire sand
As a  sandstorm passes, i withstand
On the horizon, a faint figure approaches
I hear their voice in my head, as it encroaches
As she draws close, she hands me a gift
Of magical enchantment, to close this rift
I blink my eyes, and i'm somewhere new
As all around me, has now turned blue
An alien speaks to me, with a far-off voice
Invites me to join them, it's my choice
So i follow these benign beings, to another world
Where a tall wooden house, becomes unfurled
With a blink of an eye, and the flap of a wing
I'm on a marshmallow bed, that is able to sing
It sings me a lullaby, as i happily weep
And before i know it, i'm fast asleep
