I'm a slave in my own country Freedom I'll never see and I'm watching my family Die right beside me And nobody will help us Freedom cost us so much I'm screaming and nobody can here me Freedom cost us so much blood It cost us the lives Of our fathers Our sons Our brothers and sisters But while I'm not free It has brought me tears It has cost us a great price Sadness and sorrow Pain and greef But why can't we be free And so is a thing of great value We must defend it Our land is ours Our forefathers Before us And these who have taken it away They steal everything even stealing today No more happiness and joy The children can't even play No more peace and love today Stealing our land stealing our crops And if we try to gain freedom We're put down a prisoner In our own country and True freedom will never be free And Palestinians will sadly never be free.
