Poems
Nov 2020
separation
the day I waited
on the curb
it was your turn
to have me
I had no watch
I could not tell time
to stop moving
so it passed
and when the
street lights came on
she decided it was
time to get me
she held my hand
and squeezed
trying to mend
my broken heart
