Poems
Oct 2020
Lay-limbo
the better of October
throws up its eyes to leave
its body of work, as its dank
and knobby fingers *****
at pelt-pocking raindrops.
glazing the orange skin of
pumpkins, that seem livid
with night-sweats.
flanked greys and eye-sore
whites resolve into a lay-limbo
inertial enough to be stumbled
upon.
