I hear the distant rumble
Of an aeroplane
On its way
To an unknown destination

And I wish I was up there
Travelling through the clouds
In the evening sky
Starting a new adventure
Experiencing the sensation of journeying
Ready to meet new people
Opening my life to new opportunities

But I remain here
Grounded in my reality
Held by my responsibilities
Still, in the midst
Of this strange time
