If tomorrow’s forever
Life’s so bizarre
Only when memories
Vanish as they are

Even as I know this
You never forgot
Out of the whole year
Alone I am not

For my Princess I will go
To the ends of the Earth
For my Princess I will give
All I've had since birth
For my Princess I will do
Whatever it takes

Over many years began
Spending the web prolong
Always hoping you’re here
Never being proved wrong

Trusting you’re well
Knowing you're a call away
Loving our little time
Hoping for it today

Am I so unknowable to be forgotten
To the point of ignorance
You never ignore me
I've got your acceptance

Why toss out a diamond
For a clump of dirt?
It could easily happen
If you're not alert

You are a diamond
I cannot ignore this
The undeniable fact is that
You are my Diamond Princess
I wrote this for my girlfriend on our anniversary a couple months ago. she used to be afraid that I would leave her for someone "better", and I said, "Why would I toss out a diamond for a clump of dirt?". At that time my nickname for her was "Princess", thus the "my Princess" part. So I started calling her my Diamond Princess. So when out anniversary came along and I wanted to do something, I decided the obvious choice was to write her a poem called that. Please note, however, it was my first poem in a long time (2010), so it may come off a more than a little cheesy. Most people I showed it to called it cheesy, but she loved it, so that's all that matters to me.
