Sep 2020
surely a poem
Out of this walk
Where the sun.breathed
Upon.me
A gentle.breeze
Whispering upon
My back
Grasshoppers in numbers
Dancing on the grass
So many butterflies
More then I've seen
All year.
Yellows and oranges
Splashing a kaleidoscope
Of colors before me
A hawk showing off
Its'freedom making
Crazy eights in the air
And a turtle in the middle
Of the walk peeking out
Of it's shell
The diamond colored lake
In her stillness
What a beautiful day
To be alive
For this iam
Eternally thankful
