Poor Harvest

Lost in the grain

without the sun and moon,

just the darkness and gloom

chilled to the bone in the rain

Without direction

No plans, no desires

just a heart and worn advice

I sit in solemn reflection

If it has not always been this way

Can I walk out the way I came in?

I don't know

I'll wait till the grain drys

and my thoughts are ready for harvest
