I morphed into three stages
Morning, noon, and night
I couldn’t read the gauges
They were tilted to the right
When my eyes adjusted
I was blinded by the light
They handed me sunglasses
Told me to hold on tight
Now I can see much better
And what I see is out of sight

I morphed into three stages
I then turned the other cheek
I didn’t want them knowing
If I were strong or I was weak
I took a trip to la la land
I got there counting sheep
I didn’t want to get you involved
But now you’re in too deep
