Cocktail Lounge
I'm sorry
I wish I had an answer
but if I did
I'd be a brain trust
and
uneasy is the head
that wears the crown of thorns
glasses clinking
a drink slides down to the end
a blue brocaded curtain
ripples
where did I come from
I've been here all along
I'll sit over there if you like
what time is it
the windows are blacked out
so
it might be morning

An impressionistic jazz piece with some surrealism. An original.
