Poems
Aug 2020
North Beach
We are arm and arm
leaning
against a street sign
Jack Kerouac Blvd
we are smiling
triumphant
it might seem
because that year
you almost lost me
but don't worry my love
I'd have gone down swinging
and would have taken a few with me
